With the Application Workbench integrated with EPISODES Platform, us= ers obtained possibilities to create their own codes in order to perform cu= stom analyses on the data from episodes or their data uploaded to workspace= . These features were developed within EPOS PL, Polish national project c= o-financed from European Regional Development Fund. Thanks to this, the Pla= tform has become a virtual laboratory that opens unconstrained opportunitie= s for virtual experimentation.
This guide will introduce you to creating your own applications and runn= ing them within the EPISODES P= latform. The applications you create will be kept in the Application Workbench and will be available for you from th= e EPISODES Platform when you log in to your account. All the steps required to create and integrate your o= wn code are further described on the subsequent pages of this documentation= :
The Application Workbench is available at https://epo= s-apps.grid.cyfronet.pl/. To see your application codes, you have to fi= rst = create an account, and then log in.
The Application Workbench is a Web interface for managing GIT reposit= ories based on Gitea service. All applications you will create wi= ll be represented by a GIT repository, containing files described in <= a href=3D"/display/ISDOC/Custom+application+configuration">this guide.&= nbsp;GIT is a version control system that allows for collective work on sof= tware, tracking history of software file modifications, and many more. The = command of this system is highly encouraged when using the Application Work= bench, but not required - see also Editing the application code guide.

The development of the Application Workbench and its integration with the EPISO= DES Platform was partially funded by the EPOS-PL project (No POIR.04.02.= 00-14-A003/16), co-financed by the European Union from the funds of the Eur= opean Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
