This services extracts seed files

allows for ordering parts of continuous waveforms for specific dates and stations as processed by Seiscomp. The User needs to upload the service from the low-level services repository to the personal workspace. The parameters that the User has to set are shown in Figure 12, indicated by the numbers next to the red boxes (for input) and green box (for output):

1. The User specifies the starting and ending time of the waveform he/she wishes to extract. This can be done by either typing a value in the empty space, or using the automatic calendar available.
2. The User selects one of the available seismic networks from the list.
3. The User selects station/s and component/s by ticking on the respective boxes indicated in box 3, of Figure 11.

Once these parameters have been set , the User may click on the RUN button (green button, bottom of Figure 11) and soon the output will be obtained and stored in the SeiscompOrder file in the workspace. The User may also access the output seed file by clicking in the file shown in the green box (indicated by number 4) of figure 12. The seed file is then operating by the waveform viewer and can be elaborated by several services (such as Spectral Analysis, Source Location etc).
