Only one event can be elaborated at a time in SWIP5, i.e. locate, count magnitude, etc. However, you can load from a file, from a database, or by importing from a catalog, and hold many events in memory. This allows you to perform functions for multiple events, such as exporting catalogs and bulletins, drawing earthquake maps, etc. You can also select one event from this list and modify it without changing the other ones. This is made by one event selection. Once the selected event has finished processing, you can select another one and continue doing so until all event treatments have been processed. If these actions need to be performed for all shocks and do not require operator interaction, this can be automated, and programmed actions will be performed for all loaded events one after the other.
