Loading of seismic waveforms is handled by modules. Seismic recordings in specific formats cannot be loaded without the appropriate modules.
Four modules are currently available for loading seismic records in various ways:
Module for reading data from the ArcLink server,
Module for reading data from the FDSN Web Service
File reader module,
Python communication module.
and modules for specific seismic formats: miniSEED and IRIS ASCII. All seismic format readers are used by the file reader module, while other modules require the miniSEED reader.
