Database operations consist of:

  • saving the results of the study to the database,
  • selection of elaborations for reading,
  • loading single studies into many, modifying and updating them in the database,
  • reading many studies (catalog) for export or complex seismic studies.

The number of functions depends on the database. Operations on databases, if possible, are supported by database tools, eg SQL. The databases can be on a computer with the SWIP5 program or an external server.

The database modules with the function of reading the existing event parameters according to the downloaded waveform time enable, after appropriate configuration of SWIP5, an automatic search for the phenomenon to the loaded seismic record and saving the phenomenon to the selected database after finishing the processing.
