Basic information

User can report issues via PLGrid Helpdesk platform. 

Good practice of issue reporting

In Issue report User should:

  • Provides maximum information about application with issue,
  • Indicates which cluster in involved in case,
  • Describes problem details,
  • Provides scripts and inputs files to reproduce the bug,
  • Sends screen shots.

 

There are two ways to report an issue

Reporting via Helpdesk PLGrid

To log in to Helpdesk Platform user can use Open ID or the same login and password set up at registration.

Helpdesks interfaces allows user to report new issue and view resolved cases.

Illustration below shows hot to create a report. User has to fill following fields:

1. Treść/ Issue Description (that part has already discussed in paragraph above).

2. Resource Grant's ID

3. Attachment browser.

 

The main view shows list of reports. It contains linked HD- number of report/ticket which follows to ticket's details, shortcut of description, status and last update.

 

Ticket's details/ Report's details shows its history: reports description, comments, status, date of reporting and updates.

There is also an option to communicate with helpdesk expert: "Dodaj komentarz" (Answer or Add comment) or attachment browser.
