The actions of calculating parameters from a seismic wave include: counting some magnitudes, energies, and wave amplitudes. Generally, this concerns the calculation of parameters depending on the values associated with a specific seismic wave, such as e.g. wave amplitude. There are three ways to invoke this action:

  1. By right-clicking on the seismic wave mark in the main window or zoom window, then selecting an action from the drop-down menu.
  2. By selecting an action - right-click on the seismic phase in the main window, then on selecting the action from the drop-down menu.
  3. Selecting an action from the menu in the main window, then selecting a seismic phase in the action window.

The availability of each of these activities depends on the operation of the specific module that performs this activity.

Calculation of earthquake parameters requiring information from a larger number of phases or seismic stations is usually called from the menu in the main window, sometimes from the elaboration window.
