Modules provide the program with functionalities of two types: graphical (GUI) and non-graphical (NonGUI). Graphical functionality opens the graphical window through which the user controls the module's operation. Non-graphical functionalities are performed without interaction with the user. A module can have both types of functionality. In the SWIP5C (console version of the SWIP5), only non-graphical functionalities can be used. The functionalities of the modules are usually called from the program menu. During installation - when the program is started, the module adds its own items to the menu. Due to any order of loading modules, the order of items in the SWIP5 menu may differ between computers. The functionalities of the modules can also be called from the pop-up menu of the main window (see The main window of the program) and the zoom window (see Zoom window) for a seismic channel or seismic phase and from objects in the study window (see Elaboration window). It depends on the capabilities of the module.
