To create an account in the Application Repository portal click the Sign in button in the right-upper corner of the portal (see Figure 1)

This will take you to Sign in screen (Figure 2). Click Sign in with EPISODES Platform to proceed

You will be redirected to EPISODES Platform login system, where you will have to provide your user credentials to authenticate. For more details regarding this step see Quick Start Guide. Note that this screen might not be presented to you if you are already signed in with this login system. After authenticating you will see the registration screen (Figure 3). Here you have to provide a username that you wish to have for your account, and an email address that will be associated with that account. It is strongly recommended to give the same email address as the one used in the EPISODES Platform (the same email as was used to log in in the previous step)

To be able to use applications from Application Repository in the EPISODES Platform the platform needs to be given access to the Application Repository account. To do this, you have to enter Gitea Access Token. 

Go to Gitea Profile and Settings and click Settings:

Then go to Applications tab type Token Name (it can be any name eg. "EPISODES Platform") and click Generate Token:

As a result you will see your unique Access Token. Copy it now as it wil not be shown again.

Now go to EPISODFES Platform and use the button "Connect to Application Repository" in your profile settings ("Profile and affiliations" panel). Type Paste the username Access Token you specified generated in the previous step in the input that will appear after clicking the button and confirm. Now you should be able to create new applications in the "My apps" tab.

Note: the option is currently available only to the users with role 'TESTER'
