AH-TCS is a prototype of Anthropogenic Hazard (AH) Thematic Core Service (TCS), in European Plate Observing System (EPOS) integration program. AH-TCS integrates data describing comprehensively anthropogenic hazard cases, called Episodes of Induced Seismicity (ESI) and software services grouped in certain categories. Moreover, it provides interactive visualization, browsing and optimization tools. In such way, the AH-TCS sustains a permanent and reliable platform of advanced Research Infrastructures for the Anthropogenic Hazard Community.

This quick start Guide provides basic information about how to access, register and make use of the database and the services available in AH-TCS web-platform. For more detailed description of the portal navigation, configuration options, scientific implementations and visualization services the user is referred to the AH-TCS User Guide. User Guide which comprises several chapters associated with specific functions, provides detailed decrpition, supported with snapshots and figures demonstrating step-by-step examples of certain applications.

LOGGING IN

The AH-TCS web platform is available at https://tcs.ah-epos.eu/ (Figure 1). The language that TCS operates is English. In the home page there is brief information about TCS and relative links connected with IS-EPOS and EPOS WG10. If a user has already an account he/she can easily sign in but simply providing the e-mail address and password. To create an account, the user shall click on either the ‘SIGN UP’ or the 'SIGN UP TO GET ACCESS' tab available (shown in the red frames, Figure 1). Two classes of users will be available in the TCS: Active users and passive users. Currently, only passive user registration is enabled: The fields that the user is requested to fill are shown in Figure 2. After submitting the registration form the system generates a password which is sent by e-mail to the user and can be thereinafter used for signing in the web-platform.

most of the command tabs are self-explanatory (such as 'search', 'plot', 'show', 'Add to workspace', etc).

The 'Actions' tab provide a list of actions. In case of the AH Episodes data, the only available action is 'Add to workspace'. In case of the elements in workspace (data, results) the 'Actions' tab provides a variety of actions depending upon the format and potential usage of an element. Such actions are also self-explanmatory as: 'copy', 'delete', 'use in service', 'make a directory', etc. In the case of seismic catalogs there is also a tab 'action list' which provide visualizations of catalog elements such as tables with catalog contents, seismic activity step plot, 3D events distribution etc. There are also some actions which are defined by the following symbols
