Basic information

Resource grant in PLGrid Infrastructure context is defined by and agreement between User and PLGrid Infrastructure. This agreement determins amount of resources provided for User, period of validity and gwaranteed of resources availability. 

There are two types of resource grant:

• trial grant
• proper grant

Resource grants are always associated with a work group. This is a unit which represents user or a group of users in recourse negotiation process with a supercomputer centers. Metrics are default and cannot be changed.

User must be associated a part of a work group. A work group can have one or more users and it is able to get computing resources.
