GDF export user guide

Step by Step

1. Those applications uses GDF files (uploaded from the episode data) as input, to convert the GDF file into XLS format or into vector. The User may select from 'Actions', 'Use in Application' and then from 'GDF to Vectors converter' or 'GDF to XLS converter' (Figure 1).

2. When the User selects 'GDF to Vectors converter' application extraction vectors of time and time–correlated attributes of user's choice will be available (Figure 2).

The application generates two files: time_vector.mat and time_correlated_param_vector.mat. These are input files to the Time Series Builder application that User can use as a next.

3. When the User selects 'GDF to XLS converter' application transformation of a seismic or ground motion catalog to XLS format will be available (figure 3).

The application generates one file: GDF*.xls.
